As far as scratches go, you can see a culope if you look at it at the right light at the right angle, and it picks up fingerprints like nobody's business because it's glossy, but a solution of 1 part detergent 5 parts water generally fixes up the fingerprint marks. It's not the most stylish, only because it's a ThinkPad, but if you like it, then you like it and it doesn't matter what other people say, because they're generally tools.Enjoy your new lappy.
