When you buy a refurbished computer, you still have warranty. Of course, the computer won’t have the same warranty period as a new computer, but even so, the warranty period offered for the refurbished computer is enough. Usually you will receive 3 months of warranty, but there are cases when you receive 6 months, sometimes even more, depending on the manufacturing company and on the store which sells the computer.

There might be cases when you can increase the warranty period to two years or so, but you will have to pay more money for that. In most of the cases the refurbished computers belong to the most recent generation of computers. It can be said that they are like new, the only difference being the fact that they have a lower warranty period. You decide if 6 months of warranty enough is. You will save some money, as refurbished computers are cheaper. Hopefully you will not have problems with the computer after you purchase it. In case you do, just take it to a service, and they will take care of it.
